Margaret was tired of constantly repairing the pocket lining of her husbands golf slacks, torn by the sharp points of Tee's, pitch repairers etc. collecting these objects from around the home or worse, on occasion blocking her washing machine.

Finally, she suggested he buy a strengthened portable pocket lining that would not only protect his pocket, but keep everything together after his round of golf. "With all the golf accessories on the market, it just seemed so obvious that he should be able to go out and buy one" said Margaret. With the realisation that no such product existed, the Golfers Pocket was born.
